Challenge
Fermata Advisors is dedicated to supporting and growing independent financial advisors. They wanted to give that community a DISC assessment built specifically for financial professionals and firms, one that would help advisors understand themselves and their colleagues and build stronger working relationships.
The
Approach
We partnered with an organizational psychologist and a statistician to develop the assessment from the ground up. Behind the scenes, the project involved complex math to accurately determine each person's style from their responses, including calculating standard deviations to account for how each individual blends all four DISC styles.
We also designed the report itself, carrying Fermata's brand throughout. Each personalized report walks the reader through their DISC profile with a clear visual breakdown of their style blend, a SWOT analysis adapted to their style, practical guidance for working with colleagues of every DISC type, and a reflection worksheet to turn insight into action. Industry touches, like comparing a diversified DISC profile to a diversified investment portfolio, make the content feel relevant to the advisors who read it.
The Result
A polished, research backed assessment tool that gives financial professionals a common language for communication and teamwork. Advisors receive a report that's easy to understand and immediately useful, and Fermata has a proprietary resource that reinforces their commitment to the independent advisor community.
