VBM Strategy Values
Code of Conduct
Here's the deal - we love working with people who respect and uplift each other. If you're considering working with us, please know we have a few boundaries that are absolute for us:
Respect is Mandatory
We don't tolerate disrespect, especially toward women, the LGBTQ community, minorities, or individuals with disabilities. We all cuss a little (maybe a lot), but derogatory language is a hard no. Every team member is valued equally, and we expect the same respect from everyone.
Treat Everyone Well - Always
Mutual respect is a requirement, not a suggestion. We won't hesitate to part ways if this boundary is not respected. We understand frustrations happen, but we ask that conversations remain respectful and professional.
Politics & Religion Stay Out of It
You won't assume our political or religious beliefs, and we won't assume yours. While we're happy to have tough conversations about business, our work together, and how we can improve, conversations outside of this scope don't fit.
Come Prepared or Don't Come at All
We value protecting everyone's time. Showing up prepared for meetings is key. We know life happens, and things come up occasionally - no problem! But don't let it be a habit and we commit to doing the same. We don't want opportunities to be missed!
Priorities Change, and That's Okay
We want you to focus on what's important to you. If our work together is no longer your priority, that's totally fine! We can still be friends while we each move on to new things.
Rules of Engagement
We abide by the belief that "If my expectations don't match my experience, and I can't move past it, I'll go directly to the person for clarity."
